The growth in the handling of containers at the Port of Santos continues in the double digits, reaching 3.6 million TEU until September year to date (YTD), 19.6% above the figure for this period in 2020 (3.0 million TEU) and characterized as the highest level ever registered in the period.
This performance occurs despite the lack of containers affecting the international market, caused by the strong demand that is being registered in the main exporting ports in the United States, Asia, and Europe.
