
Porto Itapoá offers new service line to North America

Porto Itapoá announced another addition to its range of services: ZIM’s ZGT (ZIM Integrated Shipping Services). This service connects the east coast of South America to ports in the Caribbean and North America, making Itapoá the only terminal in Santa Catarina to receive it.
The first ship of the ZGT service arrived in Itapoá last week (January 23). The vessel named Bright sails under the Portuguese flag and is 186m long by 34m wide.
The ZGT rotation is as follows: Buenos Aires – Montevideo – Itapoá – Paranaguá – Santos – Rio de Janeiro – Cartagena – Kingston – Veracruz – Altamira – Houston – Mobile – Kingston – Cartagena – Santos – Buenos Aires.
