From Monday (September 30th) until November 28, citizens may submit suggestions for improving the technical and legal documents related to the leasing of the SSB01 terminal at the Port of São Sebastião, São Paulo.
Public consultation is a mandatory prerequisite for the leasing project carried out under the Federal Government. The facility is designated for storing solid bulk, general, and containerized cargo. With an estimated investment of BRL 660 million, the lease contract will have a term of 35 years.
Contributions for Public Hearing 13/2024 must be submitted exclusively through the National Waterway Transportation Agency (Antaq) website. The legal drafts as well as other technical documents are available at the link: gov.br/antaq/pt-br/acesso-a-informacao/participacao-social/audiencias-e-consultas-publicas/audiencias-publicas-em-andamento (click the link to access). The Ministry of Ports and Airports and Antaq will announce the virtual session date soon.
To contribute, fill out the electronic form on the Agency’s website. Contributors may attach digital images, such as maps, plans, and photos. Suggestions containing this type of material should be sent to: [email protected], along with the contributor’s identification, within the stipulated deadline. The submission of an attachment via email does not exempt the need to submit the written contribution through the electronic form.
Additional information about the asset can be found in the contracts and annexes available on the Antaq website from September 30 onward.
