Rumo acquires 15.4% share in Brado for R$ 388 million

Rumo communicated results to the market on Friday, September 10, of the arbitration process between it and the minority shareholders of Brado Logistics and Participations. With the conclusion of the arbitration procedure, Rumo acquired 15.42% of Brado’s share capital for approximately R$388 million. According to the statement, the process involved the investment fund Logística Brasil, Dimitrios Markakis and Deminvest Empreendimentos e Participações, and referred to the liquidity right provided for in Brado’s shareholders’ agreement.
Brado Logística is a subsidiary of Rumo and carries out container transport via rail.
