Russia exports 4.54mt of wheat in July; 62 thousand for Brazil

Russia exported 4.54 million tonnes of wheat in July, according to preliminary data from the Russian Grain Union. The volume is 50% higher than that shipped in the same period last year.
For grains in general, it was 5.678 million tons, up 60% year-on-year. Barley accounted for 822 thousand tons in the month, against 313 thousand a year ago. Corn totaled 319.4 thousand tons, up 41%.
Brazil received 62 thousand tons of wheat. A year ago, the country was not among the destinations for Russian grain. In all, wheat from Russia was shipped to 33 countries in July, against 26 in the same month of 2022.
