Santos Port Authority Releases Documents for Public Hearings on Key Port Developments

The Santos Port Authority (APS) has announced that starting Wednesday (5), documents detailing the objectives of Public Consultations and Public Hearings No. 1, 2, and 3/2024 will be available on its website (www.portodesantos.com.br). These Public Hearings are designed to gather input to support decision-making for the following:
- Review of the Santos Organized Port area (polygon) – Public Hearing No. 1/2024;
- Replacement of the leased area under the Concais lease contract, which governs the operations of the Passenger Terminal at the Port of Santos, currently located in the Outerinhos region, with the Saboó region – Public Hearing No. 2/2024;
- Replacement of the area leased to Ecoporto Santos S/A, located in the Saboó region, with a new adjacent area of the same size – Public Hearing No. 3/2024.
Contributions can be submitted to APS from June 6 until 11:59 pm on June 21 through the “Participa + Brasil” Platform. Submissions should include the interested party’s “Name” and “CPF Number” and any attachments. Contributions received will be made available to interested parties on the APS website.
Public Hearings Schedule:
- June 13: At 9 am, the debate on the Port of Santos polygon will take place.
- June 14: At 9 am, discussions on the Concais will occur, followed by the Ecoporto topic in the afternoon at 2 pm.
