
Santos sees 11% YoY drop in container vessel calls over last four weeks

The accumulated total for the last four weeks shows that container vessel calls at Brazilian ports fell 6.14% in relation to the same period last year, as a consequence of the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus. The fall was more accentuated at the Port of Santos, at 10.89%.
Nevertheless, when we compare the first week of June with the previous week, the result is positive: 4% more container ships called at Brazilian ports at the beginning of the month.
