In recognition of the services provided to the Brazilian Navy, the Navy’s Customs Operations and Distribution Center (CDAM) granted the Friend of the Navy medal to Sepetiba Tecon. The award, which takes place every year, honours companies and persons that distinguished themselves by helping the institution.
At the award ceremony, Frigate Captain and CDAM director Brunno Nunes da Costa Menezes highlighted the importance and excellence of the services provided by Sepetiba Tecon in terms of imported containerized cargo for the Submarine Development Program (PROSUB). According to Commander Brunno Costa, this is the largest public administration program currently underway, and the terminal is responsible for unloading 60% of the materials assigned to PROSUB.
