
Soy: Paraguay 2023/24 output should reach 10 million T

Paraguay is expected to produce 10 million tonnes of soybeans in 2023/24. According to the attaché of the Department of Agriculture of the United States (USDA) in the country, the output was 8.8 million tonnes last year. Stocks at the beginning of the season are estimated at 134 thousand tonnes.
Paraguayan exports should total 6.4 million tonnes. The country should crush 3.3 million tonnes of the oilseed. Domestic consumption is projected at 3.57 million tonnes. Closing stocks should stand at 174,000 tonnes.
