Soybeans: Brazil to export 2.68 million tons in October

Brazilian soybean exports should reach 2.68 million tons in October, according to a weekly survey by ANEC (the national association of cereal exporters). In October last year, exports totaled 2.17 million tons. In September, the country shipped 4.7 million tons.
In the week between September 26 and October 2, Brazil shipped 1.23 million tons. For the period between October 3-9, the association registered the export of 669,700 tons. Year-to-date, the entity projects shipments of up to 81.65 million tons by the end of October.
For soybean meal, the forecast is for shipments of 1.19 million tons in October. In the same month last year, the total exported was 1.33 million tons. In September, the volume was 1.46 million tons. Last week, exports totaled 311,920 tons and the forecast for this week is 605,740 tons.
The first ten months of the year are expected to close with 13.95 million tons shipped.
