Soybeans: Brazil to export 4.74 million tons in September

Brazilian soybean exports are expected to reach 4.74 million tons in September, according to a weekly survey by ANEC (the national association of cereal exporters). In September last year, exports totaled 3.92 million tons, an increase of 20.9%. In August, the country shipped 5.79 million tons.
In the week between September 19 and 25, Brazil shipped 1.1 million tons. For the period between September 26 and October 2, ANEC forecasts the export of 1.19 million tons. In the year, the Association projects shipments of up to 79 million tons of soybeans by the end of September.

For soybean meal, the forecast is for shipments of 1.52 million tons in September. In the same month last year, the total exported was 1.32 million tons. In August, the volume was 1.28 million tons.
Last week, exports totaled 237,600 tons and the forecast for this week is 492,900 tons. In the year, the first nine months should close with 12.81 million tons shipped.
