Investor Splenda Offshore, the parent company of Bulkport, the current operator of the Port of Forno, in Arraial do Cabo, is now also the new manager of the Angra dos Reis Port Terminal (TPAR), in the Port of Angra dos Reis. The site was previously leased by Technip Brasil. The transfer of shares took place on December 30, 2019.
The new investor’s main project is to expand the port. Splenda Offshore has experience in the oil and gas and mining sectors, as well as other sectors regulated by government agencies, and it aims to turn the terminal into a base for the offshore market.
