The amount of soybeans exported until the 2nd week of April indicate reduced output in the month

Soybean exports from Brazil until the second week of April operated at a daily average of 530.4 thousand tonnes, compared to 805.7 thousand tons a day in the same entire month of 2021, informed the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex) on the 11th.

In the same period, the country’s maize shipments were 18.1 thousand tonnes, up from 6.5 thousand tonnes on average in April last year.
According to the secretariat, exports of coffee, sugar and cotton started at a meagre pace compared to April 2021.
