Timbro Imports Neary 10,000 Light and Heavy Vehicles in First Half of the Year

Timbro, an international business and trade platform, wrapped up the first half of the year with over 9,800 light and heavy vehicles imported. Espírito Santo’s ports alone (Vitória and Vila Velha) alone saw 9,432 electric vehicles were unloaded.

The operations for BYD vehicles were divided into two parts: one handled entirely at the new Timbro Automotive Center, with 7,177 cars imported in 2,297 containers, and another with 2,255 vehicles unloaded from roll-on/roll-off ships.

According to Bruno Russo, co-founder and vice president of Timbro, these figures reflect the company’s growing presence in the automotive sector. “Timbro closely follows the developments in the automotive industry, and one key trend that stands out is the ongoing global energy transition. By partnering with companies like BYD, we show synergy and agility,” he remarked.

Heavy Vehicles

Timbro imported 379 trucks through the Port of Navegantes in Santa Catarina during the same period. All of these vehicles are shipped in containers, which are unloaded at the port, registered, and given over to the client for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) procedures.

Automotive Center

In June, Timbro inaugurated its Automotive Center in Cariacica, Espírito Santo. With an investment of BRL 25 million, the facility is divided into a customs area and a general warehouse. It has the capacity to accommodate up to 12,000 vehicles simultaneously and spans 250,000 square meters, optimizing vehicle storage and distribution logistics. The site also includes an additional 100,000 square meters of technical reserve space for future expansions.
