A coarse salt unloading operation caused an accident on the night of August 17th at the Port of Santos. According to the Santos Port Authority (SPA), the activities damaged the cabin of a truck that was supposed to receive the product. Nobody was hurt.
According to SPA, the incident occurred at 10:35 pm on the pier of Warehouse 29 during an unloading operation from the Diamond Sea Ship.
A video recorded by someone on board the ship and reproduced on social media shows the vehicle taken over by the load of salt, which also spread across the floor.
In a note, the Port Authority informed that the pier was cleaned by the terminal operator in charge of that service.
The agency said it would investigate the incident with the company responsible for the operation.
