Truck exports from Brazil increased by more than 40% in March

Brazil’s truck production totalled 13,500 units in March, up 18.8% over December and 8.5% compared to the same period in 2021. The National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea) brought these figures. As for production in 2022, considering January through March, the output was 34,400 units, up 3.9% year on year.
Exports totalled 2,000 units in March, up 40.8% over February (1,500 units) and 5% over the same month in 2021 (2,000 units). Year-to-date, exports totalled 4,700 units, down 11.3% over the same period of the previous year (5,300 units).
