In a bid to enhance efficiency and expand operational capacity, the Vila Velha Port Terminal (TVV), operated by Log-In Logística Integrada, has announced the expansion of its facilities through a contract for a new port site spanning approximately 70,000 square meters. The new facility is located in the back area of the Organized Port of Vitória. The agreement, signed on Monday, February 24, with port authority Vports, grants TVV a six-year lease on the site.

To adapt the new facility to its operations, Log-In, through TVV, has earmarked an estimated R$ 35 million for infrastructure upgrades, improved access points, enhanced monitoring and lighting systems, and state-of-the-art handling equipment. The investment aims to bolster efficiency, security, and agility for its customers. The infrastructure improvements are expected to be completed within nine months.

According to Gustavo Paixão, Director of Terminals at Log-In Logística Integrada, the initiative underscores TVV’s commitment to growing alongside its customers and the broader market by offering innovative, agile, and efficient solutions. “Our goal is to strengthen our presence at the Port of Vitória and drive regional logistics development, benefiting not just our partners but the entire Espírito Santo business community,” he said.

Strategic Growth and Cargo Diversification

The new expansion will allow TVV to broaden its suite of value-added services, reinforcing its position as a fully integrated logistics operator. Beyond functioning as a port terminal, TVV provides a complete logistics platform offering warehousing, labeling, distribution, cargo handling, and sorting services—delivering customized and highly efficient logistics solutions.

By increasing its operational capacity, TVV will improve container logistics and boost productivity to meet rising market demand in Espírito Santo. Additionally, the expansion will help alleviate logistics bottlenecks, such as those experienced in 2024.

Since 2020, TVV has undergone a major transformation, expanding its service portfolio and developing new logistics solutions to align with market needs. This strategy has been crucial in strengthening the terminal’s competitiveness and operational capacity while reinforcing its multipurpose capabilities, broadening storage and cargo-handling possibilities.

“Although we are the only container terminal in Espírito Santo, we continue to innovate and diversify our operations,” Paixão added. “Today, in addition to handling containers, we efficiently operate commodities, fertilizers, steel and mining products, vehicles, and large-scale equipment such as rails and offshore pipelines—expanding the range of solutions available to our customers.”
