Vale announces new Executive Director for Ferrous Minerals and Coal

Vale announced that Marcello Spinelli has been named Executive Director of Ferrous Minerals and Coal by the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eduardo Bartolomeo.

Marcello Spinelli is a senior executive with experience in integrated logistics operations, having served since 2010 as CEO of VLI Logística.

The professional has eight years of experience in Vale from 2002 to 2010, where he served in leadership positions in the general cargo commercial area, in Tubarão port operations and in the development of the company that became VLI Logística. Previously, he also worked for Submarino and Ambev.

Marcello Spinelli has a degree in production engineering from USP and has different extension courses in Brazil and abroad in business, operations, management and infrastructure.
