
VLI, Votorantim Cimentos close deal to transport cement and coke

VLI signed a new contract with Votorantim Cimentos that provides for the movement of 625 thousand tonnes of cement and petroleum coke.
Produced at the Votorantim Cimentos plant in Laranjeiras, Sergipe, the cement will be transported to the Inácio Barbosa Maritime Terminal (TMIB), owned by VLI in the same state, from where VLI will transport it to other units. In addition, Petroleum coke, imported from the United States, arrives in Brazil through the TMIB to be used in the cement production chain.
