World coffee exports increased 4% in March to 13.16 million bags

World coffee exports reached 13.16 million bags of 60 kg in March, which corresponds to an increase of 4% compared to the same month in 2021 (12.65 million bags). The figures are part of the monthly report of the International Coffee Organization (ICO).
World coffee exports in the first six months of the 2021/22 crop (October 21 to March 22) fell by 0.1% to 66.25 million bags, compared to 66.3 million bags in the same period of the 2020/21 season.
According to the ICO, in the twelve months prior to March 2022, Arabica beans exports totaled 80.9 million bags vis-a-vis 82.67 million bags in the same corresponding period, down 2.14%.
Robusta coffee shipments totaled 48.9 million bags, compared to 47.81 million bags in the 12 months before March 2021, up 2.3%.
