
Argentina: 481,252 k tonnes of soy oil forecast for export in May

According to a poll done by Safras & Mercado, the line-up of Argentine shipments of soy oil points to 481,252 thousand tonnes in exports in May. To date, 245,000 tonnes have been shipped. Last year, in May, 508,392 thousand tonnes were exported.
The chart below shows Argentina’s exports of soy oil shipped in containers between Jan 2019 and Mar 2023, according to the DataLiner maritime data service by Datamar.

From Jan to June, data show a partial accumulation of 1.731 million tonnes vis-a-vis 2.372 million tonnes in the same period last year.
