Log-In Logística Intermodal now has a new Chief Executive Officer, Marcio Arany. He also holds the position of Director of Transformation and Innovation. The succession process had been planned since 2019 and was confirmed at a General Assembly in early June. Marco Cauduro, the former CEO, remains as a member of the company’s board of directors.
Márcio AranyMarcio Arany is a civil engineer, graduated from UFRJ, with a Master’s degree in transport engineering from COPPE and a specialization in production engineering. With a career spanning over 30 years in the area of operations, transport and logistics, he has worked for companies such as Michelin, Aliança Navegação, MRS Logística and McKinsey. He has twelve years of specific experience in navigation and logistics, the last six at Log-In Logística Intermodal as commercial director and, more recently, as the head of transformation and innovation.
The main challenges for Marcio Arany in the new position at Log-In, according to the executive, will be to guarantee the continuity of the company’s entire digital transformation project and to continue with the commercial effort to encourage the use of cabotage by new cargo types, thus taking advantage of the enormous potential for this modal in Brazil.
