ABOL requests inclusion of logistics operators in Covid-19 vaccination priority group
Jun, 10, 2021 Posted by Ruth HollardWeek 202125
Given the essentiality of the sector and the impossibility of social isolation during the coronavirus pandemic, ABOL (the Brazilian association of logistics operators) requested that the Ministry of Health include Logistics Operators in the priority group for vaccination against Covid-19, provided for in the national immunization plan. The request was made through a letter filed last week.
In the text, the institution made it clear that since the beginning of the spread of the virus last year, supervisors and logistical assistants have not stopped. On the contrary. Many logistics operators even needed to increase their operational capacity to face the enormous challenge posed by the growing flow of e-commerce and the increased demand for pharmaceutical and medical products.
