
Brazil’s soybean exports show significant growth in September YoY

According to Secex (the Foreign Trade Secretariat), the cumulative total for soybean exports from Brazil stood at a daily average of 280,300 tons in the second week of September, compared to 202,900 tons per day during the same time last year.
Brazilian oil exports experienced similar growth over the same period comparison, with 310,000 tons/day during the cumulative total for the month so far, compared to 239,300 tons per day last year. The same can be said for the growth in meat exports. Other products, such as corn and sugar had significant drops in the annual comparison.
