In the early hours on Thursday (September 16), the federal police seized 329 kilos of cocaine at a cargo exporting company in Paranaguá, Paraná. According to the police, the cocaine was secretly placed by criminals in a container stored in the company’s yard, amid a load of sesame.
The container’s destination was the Port of Rotterdam, in the Netherlands. The drug was packaged in tablets grouped into 20 bales of sesame. All the material was forwarded to the Police Station in Paranaguá, which opened an inquiry to investigate those responsible for international cocaine trafficking. Nobody was arrested.
This was the sixth and second largest seizure of cocaine made by the Federal Police this year in Paranaguá. Seizures, throughout 2021, already total more than a ton of the drug.
