Suzano estimates an additional investment of 4.6 billion reais in the construction of the new pulp mill in the municipality of Ribas do Rio Pardo (MS), raising the total contributions to the Cerrado Project to 19.3 billion reais to be disbursed between 2021 and 2024, according to the company’s relevant fact published this Friday.
The company also expects to reach a pulp-production cash cost of less than 500 reais per ton following completion of the learning curve of the new industrial unit
