Chicken exports to the United Arab Emirates grow 29% in 2021

Brazil continues to be a major supplier of chicken meat to Arab countries, particularly the United Arab Emirates. According to the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA), products exported to the Middle East totaled 1.33 million tons in 2021, with the United Arab Emirates serving as the primary destination, up 29% from 2020.
According to the ABPA, Brazil exported 4.6 million tons of chicken meat in 2021, the greatest volume ever recorded by the sector in a single year and 9% greater than the total exported in 2020.
