
Argentina’s net soybean exports have increased in December

According to the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses’ Argentine Commercial Exchange report, net exports (understood as exports minus imports) of Argentina’s four main soy-derived products generated a financial worth of US$ 1,228 million in December, up from US$ 922 million in the same month the previous year.
Exports totaled US$ 1,336 million, up from US$ 954 million in 2020. Imports of soybeans, excluding those destined for crop plantation, and their main derivatives, on the other hand, totaled US$ 108 million, US$ 32 million more compared to the same period the previous year.
