Global grain trading company Bunge said on Thursday, March 10, that it “has suspended any new export business from Russia” following Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine. However, its oilseed processing facility in Russia is still operating and servicing the domestic market.
A Bunge spokesperson said that the company is complying with all legal sanctions in an emailed statement.
Bunge has reduced its grain trading activities in Russia in recent years, including the sale of its Rostov grain export terminal, and other assets worth 121 million in total in the country, according to an SEC document.
