The Brazilian trade balance registered a surplus of US$ 2.032 billion in the 4th week of April 2022. According to data released on Monday, April 25th, by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Ministry of Economy, the value was reached with exports of US$ 6.134 billion, while imports totaled US$ 4.101 billion.
The trade result in April accumulates a surplus of US$ 7.464 billion. The balance is positive for the year, totaling US$ 19.262 billion. The daily average of exports increased by 18.7% in the first four weeks of April, with agricultural products up 6.9%, manufacture items up 42.9%, and goods from the extractive industry down 9.5%.
Imports rose 25.9%, with a rise of 28.5% in agricultural items, a growth of 24.1% in the extractive industry and increased 26.9% in products from the manufacturing industry, always in comparison with the daily average.
