Coffee: August shipments reach 1,472 million bags mark

Brazilian exports of coffee beans in August reached 1,472,082 bags of 60 kilos in the accumulated until now, with 15 working days computed (daily average of 98,138 bags), with revenue catching up to US$ 352,546 million (daily average of US$ 23.503 million), and an average price of US$ 239.49 per bag.

The average daily revenue obtained from exports of coffee beans in August is 20.6% higher than the average of August 2021, which was US$ 19.487 million. However, the average daily volume shipped is 24.9% lower than in August 2021, with an average daily record of 130,625 bags. The average price, in turn, shot up 60.5%.
