The Asia – ECSA weekly joint service operated by CMA CGM, Cosco Shipping, Evergreen, and PIL, called, respectively, ‘SEAS2’ / ‘ESA 2’ / ‘ESA 3’ / ‘SSA,’ will exclude the Port of Itajaí from its route by mid-October, Alphaliner reported.
The service will still include the neighboring Navegantes terminal, while Itajaí’s cargo will flow through transshipment services.
The revised itinerary includes calls at the Ports of Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Singapore, Santos, Paranaguá, Itapoa, Navegantes, Santos, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Qingdao. The voyage service will be completed in 77 days, using 11 vessels with capacities ranging from 4,900 to 11,900 TEUs.
The 8,463 TEUs-vessel Kota Santos should make the last call at Itajaí on October 16th.
