Anec: forecasts of soybeans, bran, and corn exports revised downward
Sep, 28, 2022 Posted by Gabriel MalheirosWeek 202239
Brazil’s National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) reduced its estimates for exports of soybeans, soymeal, and corn from Brazil in September compared to last week’s forecasts.
Corn exports could reach up to 7.132 million tonnes, versus up to 7.618 million tonnes in last week’s forecast.
If this forecast is proved accurate, Brazil will have shipped the highest monthly volume of the year in September, surpassing the August total, which reached around 6.9 million tonnes.

Despite the large amounts anticipated, the forecasts for exports indicate that the country is further away from the monthly historical record set in August 2019 (7.67 million tonnes).
Soybean exports from Brazil in September should reach 3.818 million tonnes, compared to the 4.152 million announced in the previous week.
