Fertilizers: imports total 683K tonnes in October

Imports of fertilizers from Brazil involved US$ 392.3 million in October (5 working days), with a daily average of US$ 78.443 million. The total amount of fertilizers imported by the country was 683 thousand tons, with an average of 136.6 thousand tons. The average price per ton was US$ 574.20.

Compared to October 2021, there was a decrease of 24.7% in the average daily value of imports, a loss of 41.8% in the average daily quantity imported, and an increase of 29.4% in the average price. These data are from the Brazilian Ministry of Economy and were released by the Foreign Trade Secretariat.
