Wheat: Paraguay’s exports fall 8.8% from last harvest

Wheat exports from Paraguay’s 2021 crop totaled 31,888 tonnes less than the previous harvest cycle. The volume represents a drop of 8.8%, according to the Foreign Trade bulletin of the Paraguayan Grains and Oilseed Traders Association (Capeco).
From October 2021 to September 2022, Paraguay exported 330,235 thousand tonnes of wheat. A year earlier, 362.123 thousand tonnes were sent.
