Chinese imports of soybeans from Brazil drop 15% in October

China’s soybean imports from Brazil were down 15% in October from a year earlier. China, the world’s largest buyer of soybeans, brought 2.8 million tonnes of the oilseed from Brazil in October compared to 3.3 million in the same month last year, according to the General Administration of Customs.
From the United States, China purchased 772,938 thousand tonnes in October compared to 775,331 thousand tonnes in the same month of the previous year.
