Sugar: Brazil to ship 2.123 mln tonnes

According to a survey conducted by the shipping agency Williams Brasil, 65 vessels were waiting to ship sugar from Brazilian ports in the week ended November 25, compared to 70 the previous week (16). According to the report, 2.123 million tonnes of sugar are to be shipped, up from 2.836 million the previous week.
The majority of this volume (1.321 million tonnes) will depart from the Port of Santos. Next in line are the Port of Paranagua (679,540 tonnes), Recife (80,450 tonnes), and Suape (42,500 tonnes).

The types of sugar cargo to be exported are the VHP variety (1,926,994 tonnes), granulated sugar B150 (75,000 tonnes), Refined A-45 (74,000 tonnes), VHP in bags (18 thousand tonnes), and TBI sugar (29.5 thousand tonnes).
The agency’s report includes anchored vessels, those still waiting to berth, and those expected to arrive by December 5.
