Sugar exports from Brazil grow to 4.07mt in November

The average daily revenue obtained from exports of sugar and molasses from Brazil reached US$ 83.168 million in November in twenty working days, according to data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex). The average daily volume of exports reached 203,735 thousand tonnes.
In November, Brazil exported 4,074,709 tonnes of sugar, earning a revenue of US$ 1.663 billion as the average tonne price reached US$ 408.30. In comparison to the daily average of US$ 48.980 million in November 2021, sugar exports increased by 69.8% in November 2022.
The volume shipped increased by 45.4%, up from the 140,111 thousand tonnes shipped daily in November 2021. On the other hand, the average price rose 16.8%, compared to the US$ 349.60 per tonne seen in 2021.

In volume, sugar exports in November grew 35% compared to the 2.662 million tonnes shipped in the same month of 2021. Revenue increased by 78% compared to the US$ 930 million obtained in November 2021.
