Brazil’s Federal Revenue Service and Federal Police agents seized about 26kg of cocaine on Wednesday, December 14, at the Port of Santos. The joint operation prevented the drug from going to the Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands. No one was arrested.
The narcotics were hidden in the frame of a container in the area reserved for refrigeration components. The box contained 25 tonnes of frozen chicken.
The Federal Revenue’s risk management area selected the container to be scanned. The police conducted an assessment to support the investigation.
