
Meat industry: Brazil to export 283,161 k tonnes of poultry in December

Brazil’s fresh, refrigerated, or frozen poultry meat and edible offal exports tallied $567.600 million in December (17 working days), with a daily average of $33.388 million. The country exported 283,161 thousand tonnes, with a daily average of 16,656 thousand tonnes. The average price of a tonne of poultry meat was $1,731.10.

Compared to December 2021, there was a 15.7% increase in the average daily value, a 0.1% loss in the average daily quantity, and a 15.8% increase in the average price. The data are from the Ministry of Economy and were released by the Foreign Trade Secretariat.
