TCP now takes PIX instant transfer as payment method
Jan, 05, 2023 Posted by Gabriel MalheirosWeek
The company that manages the Container Terminal of Paranaguá (TCP) included the PIX – instant transfer payment method created by the Brazilian Central Bank – in the list of possible forms of payment for the company’s service orders. Customers can use this option to make instant payments in a simple and quick manner, which speeds up the release of services at the terminal. The company estimates a 50% reduction in the time to clear imports of fully-loaded units thanks to payments via PIX.
The decision went into effect on December 1, 2022. The solution results from a collaborative effort between the billing/financial and technology sectors, with assistance from customer service and commercial areas. To choose a payment method, you must have your registration updated on the Portal do Cliente TCP, click on the “financial” tab [financeiro], and then on “invoices” [faturas/notas fiscais]. You can select between billet/pix when printing the service order and just pix.
