Former Pecém superintendent to preside over the Port of Suape

The former director of Brasil Terminal Portuário, port of Itapoá (BA) and Libra Terminais Santos (SP) and former superintendent of Ceará Terminal Operator (CTO) – in Complexo de Pecém, Marcio Guiot, was appointed by the Government of Pernambuco to preside the Suape Industrial Port Complex.
Graduated in Nautical Sciences from the Merchant Marine Academy of Rio de Janeiro, the new president has an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, a specialization in ESG from Fundação Instituto de Administração at the University of Sao Paulo, in addition to executive development courses in Brazil and abroad. The executive has held leadership positions in several companies in the segment, in addition to having acted as a consultant in several projects in the area. CTO is an operating company for the Port of Pecém.
Complying with the regulatory norm, the Government of Pernambuco indicates the new president’s name to the Board of Directors of Suape and the eligibility committee. Accordingly, the Board meets this Wednesday (1/2) to promote the nomination of its new members.
