Pork exports revenue exceed March/22 by 6.11%

According to government data released on March 27, exports of frozen and fresh pork meat exceeded, in terms of revenue, exports in March 2022.
The revenue from pork exports in the first 18 working days of the month, US$ 184,908,404, has outperformed the total revenue from March 2022, US$ 174,257,651. Regarding volume shipped, the 76,494.838 tonnes represented 94.1% of the total registered in March of last year, totaling 81,288.375 tonnes.

So far in March, revenue has averaged US$ 10,272,689, 29.7% higher than in March 2022. However, there was a 6.6% decrease from the previous week.
The ratio of tonnes exported per day was 4,249.713, representing a 15% increase over the same month in 2022. When compared to the previous week’s result, there was a 6.8% decrease.
The price paid per ton, US$ 2,417,266, is up 12.8% from March last year. Compared to the previous week’s value, the number shows a 0.2% increase.
