Specifically, the rolled cargo arrived aboard the car carrier Glovis Chorus, which arrived at the port facility in the Uruguayan capital from the Port of San Antonio, Chile.
The vessel is registered under the flag of South Korea and was built in 1997 at the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard in the Korean city of Ulsan. With a draft of 7.5 meters, a length of 199 meters, and a beam of 32 meters, it played a significant role in this high-stakes operation.
