Port of Ilhéus passes Risk Assessment Study

The Port of Ilhéus, under the management of Companhia das Docas do Estado da Bahia (CODEBA), has received approval for its Risk Assessment Study (EAR) following an analysis conducted by members of the National Commission for Public Safety in Ports, Terminals, and Waterways (Conportos). Deliberation No. 1,018, dated 05/25/2023, was officially ratified and published in the Federal Official Gazette (DOU) on the 15th of this month.
The EAR aims to evaluate assets, threats, vulnerabilities, and potential consequences to identify security risks within the port area. Additionally, it seeks to identify significant external assets that require protection per the recommendations and guidelines outlined in the ISPS Code and Resolutions of Conportos.
