Renault Brazil exports over one million vehicles mainly from the Port of Paranagua

Renault Brazil has achieved a significant milestone in its 25 years of local production, exporting one million vehicles. The most exported model currently is the Kwid, which is shipped to approximately 40 countries across the globe.

Of the vehicles produced at the Ayrton Senna Industrial Complex, about 30% are destined for export, primarily to Latin American countries, including Chile, Colombia, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, and Uruguay. The Complex also dispatches engines and parts to Argentina, Colombia, and Türkiye. Most exported products are transported via the Port of Paranaguá in Paraná, while the remaining vehicles are distributed to other countries via road transport.

“The Port of Paranaguá has implemented a range of logistical improvements, enhancing the efficiency of vehicle loading and unloading from ships. In addition to a strategic location, Paraná benefits from highly skilled port workers, resulting in zero reports of damage inflicted on this type of cargo,” comments Luiz Fernando Garcia, president of the public company Portos do Paraná.
