
Bahia port authority breaks new revenue record

After closing 2022 with a record revenue of R$ 215,385,167.48, the Bahia state port authority, CODEBA, closed the first half of 2023 with a 40% increase in revenue from the same period in 2022.
In the first half of 2023, CODEBA generated R$ 140,767,336 in revenue. This represents 65.4% of the total revenue generated in 2022.
The company’s good performance reflects the revenue growth from the Lease Agreements in Salvador and Aratu-Candeias, and from the port tariffs charged for the movement of goods at the company’s three ports.
