The government of Singapore has opened its market to Brazilian beef extract. This marks the 16th market opened to Brazilian agricultural products in 2024.
The announcement was made by Agriculture Minister Carlos Fávaro after a meeting with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on Tuesday (27/2).
“February isn’t even over yet, and the first quarter [of the year] is a record for market openings. Today, we opened the market for beef extract in Singapore. It’s a processed product with very high added value, worth more than prime meat, than premium meat. This creates opportunities in the field,” said Fávaro.
The minister also mentioned that he plans to organize a business mission for representatives of the agribusiness sector to African countries in April at the request of President Lula.
