ANTAQ Sets Date for Public Hearing on Itajaí Port Concession

The Brazilian Waterborne Transportation Agency (ANTAQ) has announced the date for Public Hearing 03/2024, aimed at receiving contributions, subsidies, and suggestions to improve the technical and legal documents related to the bidding process for Port of Itajaí’s concession.
According to the decision published in the country’s Official Gazette on March 1st, the hearing will take place on April 23, 2024, starting at 9:30 a.m. The virtual session will be broadcast, recorded, and made available on ANTAQ’s YouTube channel. No registration is required to attend the Public Hearing.
Those interested in making statements must register through the “WhatsApp” messaging application at the number (61) 2029-6940, forwarding contributions via video, audio, or text. The registration period will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 22, 2024.
The period open for new contributions will range from March 11 to May 10, 2024. Further information on bidding rules and how to pitch in will soon be available on ANTAQ’s website.
