May, 28, 2024 Posted by Gabriel MalheirosWeek 292422
Datamar, in line with its unrelenting commitment to enhancing the quality of its foreign trade data and improving customer experience, has recently implemented a significant update to its DATALINER market intelligence platform. This update focuses on the “Real Cargo Owner” field of Brazilian container exports, which now features improved accuracy.
With this enhancement, Datamar has substantially increased the percentage of shipments specifying the Real Cargo Owner, from 77.7% to 90.7% on average. This advancement provides customers with a more reliable and comprehensive database, enabling more informed and strategic analyses.
It’s important to note that data accuracy may vary from commodity to commodity. For instance, in the Wood, Charcoal, and Wooden Works categories, the proportion of shipments with this information increased significantly from 53% to 89%. Similar improvements have been seen across other product categories.
